Serving the voices

Discover how you can serve musicians through RYFO

On the road

Host Home

A RYFO Host is called to sacrificial service and gifted in being hospitable. Our homes provide road weary musicians with a comfortable home away from home where they don’t have to perform or impress, but are able to safely find rest. The radical hospitality of our hosts includes FREE food, a private space to sleep, showers, laundry facilities, and more. If you are a committed follower of Jesus and you feel called to open up your home to traveling musicians then we would love for you to consider applying to become a Host Home.

Artist Chaplain

A RYFO Chaplain is an individual who is called to serve as a relational bridge between the Church and musician community. The role of Chaplain is a diverse calling ranging from coaching artists to serving as their spiritual director. The vision for this type of care and support has its roots in the efforts of individuals we consider forerunners in the world of artist ministry. If you feel called to identify and serve missionally-called artists in the church, and/or spiritually-seeking artists in the music scene, then we would love for you to consider applying to become an Artist Chaplain.

Testimonies of Impact

  • "RYFO is doing good work for a generation of musicians that really need mentors and support while away from home."

    Joy Ike
  • "It's an honor for us to truly get to know the bands we host and to be able to serve them with the love of Christ. Most of the bands stay with us before we ever see them play in a show, so we become friends before we become fans. They know that our family will be there for them at a deeply personal level, whether they need physical help, prayer support, or just simply someone to talk to."

    Beverly Lubs, Host Home
  • We don't get to stay with RYFO homes every night when we are on tour, but the nights we do are vitally important to us physically, mentally, and spiritually. These Host Home stays are like anchors for our soul along the way. It is easy to feel alone, when you're in a band--spending most of your hours each day watching the lines on the road speed by. RYFO Host Homes remind us that we are loved, we aren't forgotten, and we aren't alone. I cannot imagine touring without RYFO.

  • Being able to understand where I am at off tour really helps me figure out what's best for me on tour. In working with RYFO I was able to determine some healthy ways to prioritize my brain and work load so that I could make the most out of tour and transition back in to regular life.
